The chemical laboratory is dedicated to research and innovation in manufacturing technologies and materials in the textile industry. It deals with innovation and sustainability of industrial transformations for conventional applications (clothing, furniture) and for technical applications (composites, construction, agriculture, medicine, etc.). The chemical laboratory offers consultancy and characterisation services for textile materials at all stages of processing (fibres, yarns, fabrics and finished garments) in accordance with national and international standards. It also carries out advanced technical training activities.
