The lab is equipped with some of the latest Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality (VR/AR) devices on the market, all used to support research activities. These devices allow designing, developing and validating VR/AR environments able to improve and promote the learning of skills related to work environments. In particular, specific applications for learning assembly or maintenance procedures are developed, as well as applications aimed at increasing the user’s leadership, resilience and change management skills. In addition, the influence of new VR/AR technologies on learning is studied in the laboratory.
