The human resources of STIIMA consist of  147 staff members – 122 researchers, junior researchers, and technologists and 25 technical and administrative staff members.

Moreover, the Institute consists of about thirty doctoral students and associates.

In addition to the five Institute branches, the human resources work in the two joint laboratories located at the University of Brescia and at the University of Bologna.
