SINACH-Sistemi integrati di navigazione per chirurgia mini invasiva
The research project includes two main topics related to mini-invasive surgery:
– Study, realization and validation of an advanced navigation system characterized by long-range tracking systems aimed to the integration in a virtual/augmented reality application
– Study and realization of a microwave-based thermo-ablation system for cancer therapy compatible with navigation systems
The synergistic development of the topics will enable the simulation of a tracked and navigated microwave cancer ablation surgery operation
